Esther Coleman

Esther Coleman is an experienced professional specializing in equity, inclusion, workforce development, and education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Equity and Inclusion at Guilford County Schools since November 2018, Esther also holds the position of Assistant Director and Workforce Development Senior Manager at the City of Durham since July 2012, where oversight includes federally-funded job placement and training programs. Prior roles include Director of Human Relations for Chatham County NC Government, Director of Instructional Enhancement for the School District of Palm Beach, and Executive Director for the American Association of School Personnel Administrators. Esther's educational background includes a Master's degree in Education and Human Relations from The George Washington University, a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Averett University, and an Associate's degree in Pre-teacher from Danville Community College.
