James W. Moore

James W. Moore currently serves as the Director of Security and School Safety for Guilford County Schools, overseeing the development and management of programs focused on security and safety in educational environments. Prior to this role, James held various positions at Amazon, progressing from Loss Prevention Specialist to Loss Prevention Site Lead. James also has significant experience in law enforcement, having served as a Captain with the Greensboro Police Department for 25 years. Additionally, military service included ranks of Sergeant in both the United States Marine Corps and the US Army. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University and is currently pursuing the 81st Administrative Officers Management Program at North Carolina State University.
