Jessica Thomas

Jessica Thomas has over a decade of experience in educational technology and library services, currently serving as the Director of IT Support and Educational Technology at Guilford County Schools since August 2012. Jessica's roles have included Interim Director of IT Support and Coordinator of Educational Technology, garnering recognition as the 2014-2015 Guilford County Media Specialist of the Year and a finalist for the statewide award. Jessica has established initiatives like a School Wide Reading Program and has held leadership positions with the Guilford Association of School Librarians. Earlier experience includes roles as a teacher at Noble Academy and a Reference Intern at UNC Greensboro. Jessica holds a Master of Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
