Khem Irby

Khem Irby is a board member at Guilford County Schools. Khem has also served as a Parent Leader with the NYC Department of Education, a Grassroots Parent Coordinator with Guilford County Schools, and a Legal Document Specialist with Custom Group of Companies.

Irby has been committed to education advocacy for many years. In their role as Parent Leader, they worked to represent parents to the district, provided clarity for education policy, and collaborated with parent leaders and department of education officials. Khem also participated in the High School Ambassador Program.

In 2017, Irby was elected as a parent leader of the Community District Education Council in Brooklyn. Khem currently serves on the board of Guilford County Schools and is passionate about ensuring that all students have access to a quality education.

Khem Irby has a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Barclay College. Khem also has a degree in Government and Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. Khem has a High School Diploma in Secretarial Science from Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers. Khem is also certified from the Public Consulting Group in CE-Oh! Completion Certificate.
