Carly DaSilva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carly began their career in 2011 as an Office Assistant in the Art Department at The College of New Jersey, where they served until 2013. During this time, Carly also interned at The Zoë Pagnamenta Agency, LLC as a Literary Agency Intern from June to August 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Publicity Intern at Beaufort Books and Midpoint Trade Books from May to August, and as a High School Sales Support Intern at Bedford, Freeman & Worth Publishing Group from August to December.

From 2013 to 2015, Carly was a Community Advisor (Resident Assistant) at The College of New Jersey, demonstrating their strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Carly then ventured into the publishing industry, serving as an Editorial & Publicity Intern at Liveright Publishing Corp. (a division of W.W. Norton & Co.) from August to November 2015.
