Steeve Tremblay

Steeve Tremblay has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining and engineering industry. Steeve is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing the company's operations. Prior to their position at Guinea Alumina Corporation, Steeve held the role of Chief Operating Officer at the same company.

Before joining Guinea Alumina Corporation, Steeve worked at MINESA Sociedad Minera de Santander as a Project Director. At Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), they served as the VP Project, where they oversaw various projects from 2017 to 2020.

Steeve has also worked at SNC-Lavalin as a Study Manager and at Rio Tinto in various positions. At Rio Tinto, they held roles such as Project Director, General Manager, Director of Engineering and Construction, Project Area Manager, and Reduction Area Manager. Steeve was also involved in project financing and procurement negotiations.

Before joining Rio Tinto, Steeve worked at BPR-Bechtel as a Business Development and Project Manager, where they played a key role in expanding the company's presence in South Africa and Mozambique.

Earlier in their career, Steeve worked at Tegesco as a Managing Director and Project Manager. Steeve led infrastructure development projects, including the construction and leasing of a $25 million aluminum plant.

Steeve Tremblay obtained a Master's Degree in Project Management from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Engineering, specializing in Professional Engineering with a focus on Mechanical and Civil fields from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from 1989 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Steeve Tremblay has also achieved several certifications. Steeve obtained a certification in "Balancing Work and Life" from LinkedIn in August 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of "Professional Engineer" from Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in May 1995.
