Urooj Mughal is an accomplished professional in the textile industry with extensive experience in design, development, and management. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager of IDEAS HOME at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited since February 2014, Urooj has played a pivotal role in positioning the company as a leader in the home textiles category through a customer-centric strategy and innovative collection development. Previously, as Design and Development Manager at Afroze Textiles Industries Pvt. Ltd., Urooj managed product operations for prominent export buyers, while earlier experience as Senior Merchandiser/Product Developer at GIA Export Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. involved providing technical leadership in product design. Urooj holds a Master of Advertising from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology and a BSc (Hons) in Textile Design & Technology from the Textile Institute of Pakistan.
