Ahmed Fathi began their work experience in 2007 as a Contact Center Agent at Gulf Air. Ahmed then transitioned into various roles within the company, including Trainee Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician, and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Aircraft Maintenance Duty Manager at Gulf Air, starting in September 2021.

Ahmed Fathi's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Indutrial Secondary School, where they studied Industrial Electronics until 2006. After completing high school, they went on to attend the BAS Engineering Training Center from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and completed the EASA B1 part (147) full course.

Alongside their formal education, Ahmed also obtained several certifications. Notably, they received an EASA A1 License and EASA B1 License from the CAA International in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Ahmed also completed B1 type certifications for various aircraft engines, such as Airbus A320 (V2500, CFM56) in 2011, Airbus A330 (RR Trent 700) in 2014, Boeing 787 (RR Trent 1000) in 2018, and RR Trent 1000 engine run up in 2018.

Furthermore, Ahmed acquired additional certifications related to aircraft operations and training. These include A320 NEO LEAP difference, LEAP 1A borescope Inspection, A320F Leap Engine Run up, Aircraft Weighing software / AC60-LP user training, Train the Trainer, Boeing 787 Rigging, and Boeing 787 (RR Trent 1000) B1 type.

Overall, Ahmed Fathi possesses a diverse educational background in industrial electronics, aircraft maintenance engineering, aviation safety management, and business administration.
