Arman Hossan Akhand

Arman Hossan Akhand has a diverse work experience in the airline industry. ARMAN Hossan started their career as a Sales and Marketing Executive at Gulf Air in September 2022. In this role, they identified business opportunities, established contact with prospects, and maintained relationships with clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Reservations Ticketing Agent at Gulf Air from January 2022 to August 2022. In this position, they performed tasks such as issuing and reissuing tickets, managing special assistance, and issuing group tickets. Before joining Gulf Air, Arman worked at Sky Bangla Aviation LTD{GSA:Drukaur (Royal Bhutan Airlines)} from March 2018 to December 2021 as a Sales & Reservation Officer. In this role, they promoted holiday packages, made hotel bookings, arranged transportation, and prepared tailor-made holiday packages.

In 2010 to 2012, Arman attended Ispahani Public School and College in Cumilla Cantonment, Cumilla, Bangladesh, where they obtained their SSC degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies.

From 2013 to 2015, Arman continued their education at the same institution, Ispahani Public School and College, and earned their HSC degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies.

In 2015 to 2019, Arman went on to Dhaka College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) degree in Economics.

In 2017, Arman briefly attended the National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, where they studied Travel and Tour operations, focusing on Tourism and Travel Services Management.

In 2022, Arman received additional training from Gulf Air in Fraud Prevention, specializing in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations.

Also in 2022, they completed Sabre Interact reservation & ticketing Training from Gulf Air, further enhancing their knowledge in Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew studies.
