Akhtar Rasool

Akhtar Rasool is an experienced professional in cyber security and networking, currently serving as Manager of Cyber Security Architecture and Lead Security Consultant for the GCC at GBM since December 2008. In this role, Akhtar oversees security business development, technical pre-sales, and the security service delivery team, while also evaluating and onboarding new cyber security vendors and developing security reference architectures. Previous experience includes roles at MAJAL as a Network Operations Center Engineer, where responsibilities included managing data center operations and providing routing and VPN solutions, and at LINKdotNET as a Project Specialist/Team Lead for Data Network Services, focused on technical project management and network infrastructure design. Early career experience includes network support engineering at IUCN. Akhtar Rasool holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer & Information Systems Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, obtained from 2000 to 2004.
