Jonita Reynolds

Jonita Reynolds has extensive work experience in the education and community service sectors. Jonita began their career in 1992 as an English Teacher at Houston ISD and later served as a Magnet Coordinator. In 1999, they transitioned to the role of Internal Consultant before becoming the Director of Strategic Management & Quality Improvement in 2001. In this position, they were responsible for implementing various initiatives and managing a team of 17 internal consultants. In 2003, Jonita Reynolds became the Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Coast Community Services Association, Inc., where they focused on strengthening the educational, social, and economic well-being of individuals and families in Harris County.

Jonita Reynolds has a strong educational background focused on educational leadership and administration. Jonita earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Houston in 1992.
