Rene Flowers

Rene Flowers possesses extensive experience in management, corporate training, and community engagement, currently serving as a School Board Member for Pinellas County Schools since 2012 and as a Candidate for Pinellas County School Board District 7 since October 2013. As Guild President of the Pinellas County Urban League Guild since May 2013, Rene has demonstrated leadership in community initiatives. With a background that includes serving as City Council Member for the City of St. Petersburg from 1999 to 2008, and holding roles at Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Mental Health Services and Unique Agenda Consulting LLC, Rene is skilled in fundraising, event planning, legislative processes, and policy implementation. Academic qualifications include a Doctoral candidacy in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from Eckerd College.
