Rodric Lucas has extensive experience in the healthcare field, having served as a Quality Assurance Manager and Operational Support Manager at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center since June 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing quality and compliance for product release. Prior to this role, Rodric served in the United States Air Force from November 1998 to April 2006 as a Medical Service Apprentice, providing comprehensive patient care. Additionally, Rodric worked as a Critical Care Technician at Spring Branch Hospital from January 2000 to April 2003, utilizing EMT certification obtained through military training. Rodric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Le Tourneau University, earned in 2007.

Our mission: To partner with the community to help save and sustain lives by providing a safe supply of blood, blood components and related services. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center began operations, independent of the Harris County Medical Society on Jan. 1, 1975. Today, recognized worldwide for its quality assurance programming, state-of-the-art technologies and management expertise, The Blood Center has grown to more than 700 employees and serves more than 170 hospitals and health care institutions in the 26-county Texas Gulf Coast, Brazos Valley and East Texas regions. To meet the needs of the area community, The Blood Center must collect about 1,000 donations every day. That is why The Blood Center encourages individuals to Commit for Life, a partnership between the community and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center that is focused on saving lives, today and in the future. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is a nonprofit, independent blood center that is not affiliated with the American Red Cross.
