Omar Obregon

Omar Obregon has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with their most recent role being Director of Business Development at Gulf Drilling International since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Business Development at Seadrill from May 2018 to February 2023. Before Seadrill, they worked at Parker Drilling Company, where they held the positions of General Manager Latin America and Mexico Country Manager from October 2014 to May 2018. Omar'searlier experience includes various roles at Schlumberger, including CPG Wireline Operations Manager, Training Center Manager, Operations Manager, Field Service Manager, Wireline Sales & Technical Support, Engineer in Charge, General Field Engineer, and Field Engineer from 2000 to 2014.

Omar Obregon attended Universidad Metropolitana (VE) from 1993 to 2000 where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
