Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Melissa started their career as a Front Desk Manager at Holiday Inn in 1996 and later became a Conference Services Manager/Catering Sales Manager at Radisson Astrodome/Wyndham International in 1998. Melissa then joined InterContinental Hotels Group as a Conference Services Manager in 2003, where they demonstrated exceptional knowledge of hotel operations and successfully managed VIP groups. In 2006, they became the Director of Event Services/Public Relations at AmeriSciences, LLP, where they worked until 2011. Melissa's most recent role was at Gulf Energy Information, where they held positions as an Events Director and later as a Global Events Director since 2012.

Melissa Smith attended Abilene High from 1984 to 1988. Melissa then went on to study at Cisco Junior College from 1988 to 1990. Finally, Melissa attended Hardin-Simmons University from 1990 to 1991.
