Ahmed Alhamad

Ahmed AlHamad currently serves as the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations at Gulf International Bank, a position held since November 2013, following a prior role as Head of IT Operations. With a solid background in IT, Ahmed held the position of Assistant Vice President for IT Infrastructure, Operations and Support at Al Salam Bank-Bahrain from February 2007 to November 2013 and worked as Assistant Manager in IT at United Gulf Bank from January 2003 to February 2007. Ahmed's educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain (1997-2002) and completion of the GIB Future Leadership Programme in Organizational Leadership at London Business School (2018-2019).
