Junaid Mohamed

Junaid Mohamed is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in the banking and fintech sectors. Currently serving as the Head of IT Delivery-Retail Banking at Gulf International Bank since December 2022, Junaid oversees the IT delivery for retail banking, focusing on digital channels, contact center solutions, CRM, and collections applications. Prior to this role, Junaid was the Head of Acquiring IT at neoleap, where responsibilities included managing the e-commerce and POS acquiring portfolio within a fintech startup. Junaid also served at Al Rajhi Bank for over a decade, holding roles such as Head of Acquiring and Manager of Reconciliations Projects, focusing on technology solutions for payment systems and reconciliation processes. Earlier career experiences include positions at Sungard and ABN AMRO, specializing in business consulting and investment banking operations. Junaid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras.
