Maksym Samusenko has a strong background as a Chief Engineer, with experience in various marine companies. Maksym recently joined Gulf Marine Services PLC in 2021, where they currently hold the position of Chief Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Zakher Marine International Inc from 2019 to 2021, also as a Chief Engineer, specializing in 4 Legs Self Propelled Self Elevated Jack Up Units. Before that, they worked at Atlantic Maritime Groop FZE from 2016 to 2019, where they served as the Chief Engineer on a Jack Up DP1 SP Unit and gained expertise in BOSIET, H2S, DP Maintenance, and various engine systems. From 2015 to 2016, Maksym worked at MMA Offshore Limited as a Chief Engineer on an Accommodation Crane Work Barge, and prior to that, they had a brief stint as a Chief Engineer at Jaya Holdings in 2014 and Seaport International in 2014, where they worked on AWBs and Well Stimulation Vessels respectively.

Maksym Samusenko completed their education from 1999 to 2005 at Sevastopol State Technical University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Marine Engineering. Their specialization was in the field of Engineer-Mechanic of specialized vessels power plants.
