Joey Chua

Joey Chua has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. Joey is currently working at Gulf Marine as the Head of IT, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Information Technology at OSM Maritime Group from January 2021 to December 2022. Before that, they worked at SeaTeam Management Pte. Ltd. as the Head of Information & Technology from August 2019 to January 2021, and as a Systems Manager from April 2011 to July 2019. Joey also worked at SpecTec as a Project Consultant from August 2008 to April 2011.

Joey Chua obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics from the Singapore Institute of Management in 2016. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, Joey studied Marine Engineering and obtained a Diploma from Singapore Polytechnic. In addition to their education, Joey has also acquired several certifications, including Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II from Workato, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA in 2022, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2021, ITIL 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, PCQI from CQI in 2020, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI in 2018.
