Danyelle Jefferson

Danyelle Jefferson is a seasoned mortgage underwriter with extensive experience in asset-based lending, underwriting, and risk assessment. Currently serving as a Mortgage Underwriter at Gulf Winds Credit Union since December 2022, Danyelle has expertise across a variety of loan types, including conventional, FHA, and jumbo loans, and is actively involved in project development and mentorship. Previously, Danyelle held similar roles at Bay Equity, LLC, where responsibilities included inspecting appraisals and leveraging underwriting technologies, and at Chartway Federal Credit Union, where Danyelle excelled in consumer underwriting and mortgage processing. Danyelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Wesleyan University, graduating in May 2013.
