Stuart Maier

Stuart Maier has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Stuart started their career in 1977 as a Wellsite Geologist/ Mud Logger at Geological Logging Co. Stuart then worked as a Wellsite Geologist at an Independent company before moving on to Gulf Oil Exploration and Production Co as a Production Geologist. Stuart later joined The Anschutz Corporation as an Exploration Geologist and then transitioned to DLB Oil & Gas as a Senior Geologist. Most recently, they served as a G&G Manager at Gulfport Energy Corporation before taking on the role of V.P. Geosciences in 2013.

Stuart Maier began their education at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 1972, where they studied Journalism, History, and Geology. Stuart then went on to earn a B.S. in Geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1974 to 1976.
