James Morris

James Morris is currently the Finance Director at Gulfsands Petroleum. Prior to this, they were the Director and Executive Chairman at Direct Petroleum Exploration Inc. from November 2009 to March 2011. From December 2005 to August 2012, they were a Non-Executive Director at SouthWest Energy (HK) Ltd. James has also been the Chairman at Blake Oil and Gas Limited from January 2010 to May 2015, and the Non-Executive Chairman at Madagascar Oil Limited from October 2014 to June 2017. In addition, they were the Founder, Partner and CEO at Peristency Capital LLC from July 2004 to December 2011.

James Morris has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol and is a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW.
