Jim Vanderweele

Jim VanderWeele is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as a Completions Mechanical Engineer Technical Specialist II at Gulfstream Aerospace since July 2021, focusing on asset creation and wire routing using CATIA and Capital Harness. With a prior tenure at Belcan from July 2007 to July 2021, Jim contributed significantly to design engineering for Gulfstream's G700 aircraft and various helicopter programs, including the VH-92 and SB-1 Defiant. Jim held multiple roles with increasing responsibility, including team lead positions, and was actively involved in designing crucial components and systems. Earlier experience includes a role at Bell Flight, where rapid prototype developments were implemented for military aircraft. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a technical certificate in Injection Molding.
