Marcelo Ibrahim

Marcelo Ibrahim is a seasoned Flight Control Laws Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently employed at Gulfstream Aerospace since May 2022, Marcelo previously held similar positions at Lilium and Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, where support was provided for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet program. Notable prior experience includes a role at Embraer, focusing on the development and verification of control systems for high-performance civil aircraft, alongside responsibilities in design validation and certification processes. Marcelo began their career at Chemtech - A Siemens Company, developing automation and control systems for process industries, which followed an academic background as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where a control system for an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle was developed. Marcelo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and also studied at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
