Stan Jones

Stan Jones is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in test piloting and military leadership. Currently serving as an Experimental and Production Test Pilot at Gulfstream Aerospace since March 2018, Stan previously held significant roles in the US Navy, including Commanding Officer of VX-9, where responsibilities encompassed leading test and evaluation efforts for advanced strike fighters and managing substantial budgets and personnel. Additional key positions included Chief Operational Test Director, F/A-18 Requirements Officer, and Commanding Officer of various F/A-18 squadrons. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, and a Master of Science in Aviation Systems. Stan's military training includes graduation from the US Naval Test Pilot School and the Joint Forces Staff College.
