Jim Kone has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jim started their career at Varian Medical Systems in 1998, working as a Marketing Applications Engineer and later becoming a Product Manager. Jim held these roles until 2011. In 2011, they joined Comet North America as a Global Business Development Manager and stayed with the company until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at COMET Technologies USA Inc. as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Gulmay L.T.D. starting from 2017.
Jim Kone attended the University of St.Gallen from 2014 to 2016, where they completed a Senior Executive Education Program. Prior to that, they attended Westminster University from 1997 to 1999, earning an MBA in Marketing. Jim also completed their undergraduate education at Westminster University from 1992 to 1997, earning a BA in Business/Marketing.

Gulmay specialises in the design and manufacture of high frequency, high power generators and controls for use in industrial x-ray applications. Founded in 1982, Gulmay has been at the forefront of high voltage generator design for applications such as security & defence, N.D.T., microfocus imaging, gauging, sorting, medical & scientific research, sterilisation & irradiation, electron beam welding and neutron beam power sources for 30 years. Additionally, Gulmay offers a complete range of systems designed to ensure an integrated, turn-key solution for every x-ray imaging requirement. To simplify system integration, all generators, x-ray tubes, coolers and high voltage cables are supplied fully tested and optimised, ready for immediate use straight out of the box.
