David Park has a diverse work history spanning various industries. David started their career as an Investment Bank Analyst at JPMorgan in 2000. David then worked as an Associate in the Credit Group at Banca Intesa from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, David founded Prefixmag.com, a music news website where they managed various aspects of the business, including editorial, advertising, and social media. David also formed partnerships with record labels and internet companies to expand the brand. Following this, they held roles as the Director of Business Development and Marketing at Shindig, the Founder of Back to Back Media, and the Director of Business Development at the New York Daily News. In 2015, they became Vice President of Business Development and Innovation at Bauer Xcel Media, where they were responsible for developing the company's business in the US. David later became the Head of Business Development and Revenue, overseeing ad sales, ad operations, and revenue reporting. In 2017, David started their own venture called Coins & Keys. David then became the Senior Director of Publisher Partnerships at GumGum, a computer vision company that provides advertising solutions. Currently, they are also involved in a side project called Comedy Noted, where they are a Co-Host and Producer of a weekly vodcast featuring interviews with comedians.
David Park attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and Management Information Systems (M.I.S.). During the same time period, they also pursued a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Management Information Systems at Boston University. In September 2020, David obtained a certification in Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk's Edge Academy.
