Ken Weiner

Chief Technology Officer at GumGum

Ken Weiner is the Chief Technology Officer at GumGum. Prior to their current position, Ken served as a Technology Advisor at Rad AI from April to August 2019. Ken has also been a part of the Forbes Technology Council and Storitz Inc., where they served as a Technology Advisor from June 2013 to September 2018. Ken originated JASIG's uPortal project in 1999 and remained the lead Software Developer and Project Manager until 2005. Ken led Unicon's uPortal training program and worked with many universities on their uPortal implementations. In addition to their work in technology, Ken is also a saxophonist and has performed as a freelance musician.

Ken Weiner has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Ken also has a certification in product management from Stanford Online and a certification in API development from Cloudinary. In addition, they have completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, which includes courses on sequence models, convolutional neural networks, improving deep neural networks, and neural networks and deep learning. Ken also has a certification in machine learning from Coursera and a certification in financial accounting from Code School.
