Michalis Emmanouel is an accomplished product leader with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as Product Lead for Payments, Messaging, and Fraud at Gumtree Group since August 2023. Previously, Michalis held significant roles, including Head of Product B2C at eBay Kleinanzeigen and Product Unit Lead at eBay, where Michalis contributed to the company’s strategic initiatives after its acquisition by Adevinta. Michalis’s career also includes leadership positions at Opinary and REMERGE, alongside earlier experiences as a Product Manager at Experteer and founding roles at Outrank m.e and Jet Money Services. Academic credentials include a CEMS Masters in International Business from HEC Paris, an exchange program at Tsinghua University, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Imperial College London, and a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
