Zach Estep

Zach Estep has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Zach started their career as an Electrician at Owosso Automation from 2004 to 2006, and then moved on to Thermotron Industries as an Electrician from 2006 to 2008. At Thermotron, they were responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing automated assembly line machinery.

In 2008, Zach joined BDO USA, LLP as an Application Support and Development professional, where they provided instrumental assistance in designing and implementing new enterprise-wide solutions. Zach also learned and supported various enterprise applications, including Sharepoint and document management systems. Later, they became a Project Manager at BDO, excelling at leading a broad portfolio of projects and successfully managing multi-million-dollar mergers and acquisitions.

Since 2015, Zach has been working at Gun Lake Casino, where they initially served as an IT Manager. In this role, they actively managed the IT team and ensured technical issues were resolved promptly. Zach also took on additional responsibilities as a business analyst, solution architect, and project manager to implement both off-the-shelf and custom-developed solutions. Zach was promoted to the position of Director of Information Technology in 2018. In this role, they designed and implemented innovative solutions to business problems, managed budgets, and supported career growth for the entire staff.

Zach Estep completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western Michigan University, from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Information Systems from Baker College between 2002 and 2007. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in project management. Zach obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022, and the Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) certification in March 2012.
