Rob Palmberg has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Rob is currently serving as the Director of the Project Management Office at Gundersen Health System. In this role, they provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all corporate programs and projects.
Prior to joining Gundersen Health System, Rob held various leadership positions at Dairyland Power Cooperative. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Vice President of External and Member Relations, where they partnered with the CEO and Executive Team on member relations, government relations, and environmental affairs. Rob also served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning from 2017 to 2019, leading the development and implementation of the cooperative's integrated resource plans.
Before their time at Dairyland Power Cooperative, Rob worked at Commonwealth Edison Company. Rob started as an Engineer and later became a Quality Assurance Engineer and Unit 7 Engineer.
Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, and leadership in the energy industry.
Rob Palmberg obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University from 1986 to 1990. Rob then pursued an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1997 to 2003. Additional certifications include Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) and Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, obtained in 2023.
