Andrew Thornborrow

Andrew Thornborrow is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and venture capital. Currently serving as a Partner at Gunderson Dettmer since June 2014, Andrew has previously held roles such as Operating Partner and General Counsel at BlueRun Ventures, where responsibilities included managing legal, finance, and investor relations functions and driving firm strategy. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney at Gunderson Dettmer and DLA Piper, where Andrew specialized in corporate and securities law, public and private financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Andrew began a legal career as a Law Clerk to Justice A. William Maupin at the Nevada Supreme Court. Andrew holds a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
