Melissa Marks

Melissa Marks is a Partner at Gunderson Dettmer, where responsibilities have been held since May 2014, after progressing from an Associate role at the firm. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Counsel at Samsung from July 2013 to April 2014 and as General Counsel at Boxee, Inc. from April 2011 to June 2013. Melissa also held an Associate position at Gunderson Dettmer from January 2008 to April 2011 and began a legal career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as an Associate from October 2006 to January 2008. Melissa obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School between 2003 and 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Columbia University from 1999 to 2003.
