Michel van Damme

Michel Van Damme has over two decades of experience in various IT roles. Michel is currently working as the IT Director at Gunnebo Entrance Control since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Programme Management Office Manager at Gunnebo from January 2021 to March 2022. From 2019 to 2020, they held the same position at Gunnebo. Before joining Gunnebo, Van Damme worked as an ERP Project Manager at Dentsply Sirona from 2016 to 2019. Michel also has a long history with Gunnebo, where they held positions such as IT Manager and IT Project Manager from 2003 to 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Administrator at Gunnebo Entrance Control from 2001 to 2003. Michel started their career as a Support Engineer at Business Connexion in 1997. Overall, Van Damme has a strong background in IT management, project management, and technical support.

Michel Van Damme completed their high school education at Pinelands High School from 1992 to 1996, earning the Matric / A-Level degree. During this time, they studied English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Accountancy, and Computer Science. In addition, Michel obtained several certifications including PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG-International in 2014, Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet from Microsoft in 1999, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft in 1999, and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 1998.
