Iain Port

Iain Port has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Iain began their career as a Draughtsman at Worcester Valves in 1992. From 1997 to 2002, they worked as a Design Engineer at Pyroban. Iain then joined Edwards in 2002, where they held multiple positions such as Project Manager, Manufacturing Cell Manager, and NPI Manager. At Edwards, they managed the development of new electro-mechanical products and achieved significant market share growth. In 2012, they joined Teledyne Oil & Gas as a Global Product Manager, responsible for the strategic business plan and P&L for the sensor product line. In 2013, they became the Head of Platforms at Haas Group International, overseeing marketing, customer service, and product management. Currently, they are the R&D and Operations Director at Gunnebo, where they have implemented changes to improve product delivery and initiated a lean transformation program.

Iain Port attended The Open University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a BEng degree in Engineering.
