Chris Nutgrass

Chris Nutgrass is an experienced appraiser currently working at Gunnison County since January 2018. Prior to this role, Chris was the Peace Corps Prep Coordinator at Western State Colorado University from May 2016 to May 2017, where responsibilities included launching and managing the Peace Corps Prep Program. Chris served as an Agroforestry Extension Agent with the Peace Corps from November 2012 to October 2014, focusing on agricultural and environmental challenges, conducting training sessions, and coordinating food security initiatives. Chris holds a Master in Environmental Management with a focus on Sustainable and Resilient Communities from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Politics and Human Rights, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, from the University of Georgia.
