Chris Muhs

Chris Muhs is a transportation consultant who has worked in the field for over 10 years. Chris started their career as an intern at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, before moving on to become a Graduate Research Assistant at Portland State University. After a few years in academia, Chris decided to enter the private sector and took a position as a Transportation Engineering Associate with DKS Associates. Chris spent three years at DKS before moving on to their current role as an Operations Analyst with TriMet. In their current position, Chris is responsible for overseeing the operations of TriMet's bus and rail system.

Chris Muhs has a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Penn State University and an M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Portland State University. Chris also has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Oregon State University, a Practical Machine Learning Certification from Coursera, a Developing Data Products Certification from Coursera, a Getting and Cleaning Data Certification from Coursera, an R Programming Certification from Coursera, and a The Data Scientist’s Toolbox Certification from Coursera. Chris is also certified as an Engineer In Training by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
