Christopher Mutsaerts

Christopher Mutsaerts has extensive experience in trading and finance, currently serving as a Trading Operator for Biodiesel Operations at Gunvor Group Ltd since July 2016. In this role, Christopher handles biodiesel blending and trading activities. Previous positions at Gunvor included Trade Finance Officer, responsible for managing a significant borrowing base and overseeing fuel oil desks, as well as Junior Fuel Operator, where duties involved contract management and logistical coordination. Prior to Gunvor, Christopher worked at Credit Suisse in investment banking and private banking roles, focusing on M&A transactions and client relations in the Middle East. Christopher also gained experience in asset management during an internship at Edmond de Rothschild and worked as a kitchen assistant at Virgin. Academic qualifications include a Master in International Trading, Commodity Finance and Shipping from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor's degree from HEC Lausanne.
