Claire Halligon's work experience includes their most recent role as the Global Head of Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance at Gunvor Group Ltd. Claire has been in this position since April 2022. Claire Halligon attended the Université de Poitiers from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a DESS and Magistère (Master's degree) with honors in IP and IT Law. Claire also spent four months at Uppsala University in 2000 as part of an Erasmus program, studying European Law.

Prior to their university studies, Claire Halligon attended the Université de Poitiers from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they completed Classe Préparatoire to the Grandes Ecoles, specifically Hypokhâgne and Khâgne. This program covered a variety of subjects including Philosophy, Literature, History, Geography, and Languages (English, German, Chinese).
