Claire Halligon

Claire Halligon's work experience includes their most recent role as the Global Head of Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance at Gunvor Group Ltd. Claire has been in this position since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance Director at the same company from June 2016 to April 2022.

Before joining Gunvor Group Ltd, Claire worked at NetApp as the Senior Legal Counsel EMEA Compliance from November 2009 to December 2015. Their responsibilities included overseeing regulatory compliance for EMEA, including anti-bribery, competition law, data privacy, trade compliance, and product compliance. Claire also provided support for marketing and WPR functions and led EMEA-wide compliance projects.

Claire's earlier experience includes serving as the Legal Counsel France at NetApp from July 2005 to November 2009, as well as a Legal Counsel at Informatique CDC from December 2002 to June 2005 and a Lawyer at Peregrine Systems from June 2001 to November 2002.

Claire Halligon attended the Université de Poitiers from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a DESS and Magistère (Master's degree) with honors in IP and IT Law. Claire also spent four months at Uppsala University in 2000 as part of an Erasmus program, studying European Law.

Prior to their university studies, Claire Halligon attended the Université de Poitiers from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they completed Classe Préparatoire to the Grandes Ecoles, specifically Hypokhâgne and Khâgne. This program covered a variety of subjects including Philosophy, Literature, History, Geography, and Languages (English, German, Chinese).

In terms of additional certifications, Claire Halligon obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in November 2015.
