Sylvain Quartier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the petroleum and tanker analysis sector, currently serving as a Senior Petroleum and Tanker Analyst at Gunvor Group Ltd since January 2018, specializing in tanker market analysis, crude oil, and petroleum products market analysis, as well as tanker FFA execution. Prior to this role, Sylvain worked at SOCAR Trading S.A. as a Senior Petroleum Analyst, focusing on crude oil, petroleum products, and freight markets analysis. Additional professional experience includes positions at Romande Energie, Cargill International SA, where Sylvain held roles such as Middle Distillates Trader and Senior Crude Oil Analyst, Deltaconcept Sàrl as a Developer/Consultant, and as an Intern Researcher at Siemens Corporate Research.
