GUNZE LIMITED is a Japan-based company which operates in three business segments. The Functional Solution segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of plastic films, engineering plastic products, electronic components, printing-related machines, food-related machines and medical materials. The Apparel segment is involved in the manufacture, processing, distribution and sale of apparels including underwear, leg wear and others, as well as textiles and fiber materials. The Life Create segment in engaged in the planning and redevelopment of the Company's factory sites, the design and construction contracting of construction works, the sale of trees and the operation of sports clubs. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 63 subsidiaries and seven associated companies.
