illia Zubariev

Senior VFX artist at Gunzilla Games

Illia Zubariev has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. illia began their career as a freelance 3D artist, texturing, and level designer in 2014. illia then worked at DigitalHephaestus as a 3D artist, 3D rigging, and VFX specialist until 2015. In 2015, they joined Room 8 studio as a VFX artist, where they worked on various game engines for clients such as Amazon, Activision, and Ubisoft. In 2017, Illia held positions at artificialcore and Ugistudio. illia joined Frag Lab in 2019 as a Senior VFX Artist, where they designed VFX for the new shooter game "Shatterline." At Veryo Studios, a startup specializing in mobile games, Illia worked as a Senior VFX/Technical Artist from 2022 to 2023, contributing to shader development, asset integration, and VFX. Currently, in 2023, Illia is working as a Senior VFX artist at Gunzilla Games.

Illia Zubariev completed their Master's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Poltav'skij Nacional'nij Tehnicnij Universytet imeni Yuriya Kundratiuka, from the years 2007 to 2012.
