Chunmei Yu

Chunmei Yu is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in equity trading and fund management. Currently serving as an Equity Trader at Guotai Junan International since July 2020, Chunmei specializes in proprietary equity trading using a long/short strategy in the Great China markets. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Fund Manager at Value Partners from February 2011 to March 2019, where Chunmei assisted the Chief Investment Officer in managing flagship funds and independently managed a fund with assets under management of $50 million. Chunmei also worked as a Senior Analyst covering A&H share oil and gas and financial companies at Value Partners, as well as an Analyst at Shanghai Shenyin & Wanguo Securities Research Co., Ltd., earning accolades as the "Best Analyst" from 2008 to 2010 for expertise in the oil and gas sector. Earlier in the career, Chunmei served as a Customer Manager at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, focusing on loan solutions and customer relationship management. Chunmei Yu holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, obtained between 2005 and 2007.
