Liang Chen

Liang Chen, CFA has extensive experience in the finance industry. Liang began their career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2008, where they served as Director of Equity Derivatives Trading for over thirteen years. In 2021, they joined Guotai Junan International as Deputy Head of Trading. Liang then quickly rose to the position of Head of Cross Border Equity Derivatives in August 2022. Liang Chen's expertise lies in equity derivatives trading, and they have a strong track record in this field.

Liang Chen, CFA, completed their education with a Bachelor of Mathematics in Information and Computational Science from Nanjing University in 2005. Liang then pursued a Master of Engineering in Financial Mathematics from ENSTA Paris, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. During this period, they also attended Institut Polytechnique de Paris in 2008 to earn a Diplôme d’Ingénieur (Master of Engineering) in Financial Mathematics. Furthermore, Liang Chen studied at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in "Probability and Finance" (DEA d’El Karoui) cohabilité with l'École Polytechnique.

Additionally, in September 2014, Liang Chen obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, further enhancing their professional qualifications.
