Xavier Nodet

Xavier Nodet has over 25 years of work experience in the field of optimization. Xavier began their career as a Software Engineer at Ingénia in 1996. In 1998, they joined ILOG S.A. as a Principal Architect and Consultant, where they designed and developed several ILOG Optimization products and managed consulting deals in France. In 2009, they joined IBM as a Senior Program Manager, Development, IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio, and held various roles, including Senior Customer Advocate, Decision Optimization, Program Manager, Decision Optimization on Cloud, and Program Manager, CPLEX Optimization Studio. As Software Development Manager, CPLEX, they managed a fully distributed team of 10+ Scientists and Software Engineers. In 2022, they will join Gurobi Optimization as Development Manager, Gurobi Optimizer.

Xavier Nodet holds an educational background that includes a Maîtrise in Mass - Mathématiques Appliquées aux Sciences Sociales from Institut de Mathématiques Appliquées - IMA (1990-1994) and a Postgraduate in Computer Science and Operations Research from Pierre and Marie Curie University (1994-1995). Xavier also holds various certifications from institutions such as Cognitive Class, ORSYS, IBM, Cloud Credential Council, and Coursera, which include Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction (Cognitive Class, 2019), Marketing Operationnel pour les éditeurs de logiciel (ORSYS, 2019), Applied Data Science with Python - Level 2 (IBM, 2019), and Introduction to Financial Accounting (Coursera, 2018).
