Zed Dean

Zed Dean has been working in the industry since 2000. Zed started their career as an ICT Officer at UNICEF, then moved on to become a Visiting Lecturer at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in 2007. That same year, they also became the Circulation Manager at United Group at AWI Company, where they developed and implemented Audience Development Plans and designed Predictive Models and customer retention models. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Lecturer at the Arab International University. In 2015, they began working as a Marketing Analytics Consultant at We Simplify the Internet (WSI). Most recently, they have been a Technical Account Manager at Gurobi Optimization since 2021.

Zed Dean obtained a Master's Degree in Master Of Engineering (MEng)/Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from Damascus University between 1995 and 2000. Zed then went on to obtain an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research MS/OR from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School between 2005 and 2006. Zed also holds certifications from SAS, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.
