Kwok Wing Cheung

Kwok Wing Cheung has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kwok Wing started their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Petroleum of Venezuela S.A. - PDVSA, where they inspected stations and supervised operational processes in the field. Kwok Wing then joined SIMCO Consortium as a Mechanical Engineer Research Experience, where they designed and implemented technical standards for water treatment plants.

After gaining experience in the engineering field, Kwok transitioned into the restaurant and hospitality industry. Kwok Wing worked as a General Manager at Fortuna Restaurant, where they developed strong relationships with vendors and customers and managed daily operations. Kwok Wing later joined Gourmet Oriental Restaurant as a Supervisor, overseeing operations and driving improvement in supply chain costs and customer satisfaction.

In 2013, Kwok joined King Linen as a Warehouse Supervisor, responsible for logistics and managing daily operations. Kwok Wing then moved on to Gurtam, a software development company, where they took on various roles. Firstly, as a Technical Account Manager for Latin America, they built relationships with hardware manufacturers and customers, managed daily operations, and oversaw marketing research. Kwok Wing then became a Technical Account Manager Coordinator for North and Latin America, providing technical consultation and organizing strategic projects. Currently, Kwok is the Head of Implementation Team (Americas) at Gurtam, where they manage the department for technological and project development of partners.

Overall, Kwok has a breadth of experience in engineering, hospitality, and software development, showcasing their adaptability and ability to excel in diverse roles.

Kwok Wing Cheung obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Zulia - LUZ. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Nuestra Señora de Chiquinquirá – H.H Maristas.
