Adam Burris

Adam Burris has extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry, starting as an Enterprise Support Engineer at Webroot in 2004. Adam then moved up to roles such as Senior Consultant and Operations Manager at LogRhythm, Inc. In 2017, they joined EY as a Senior Consultant before transitioning to Optiv where they held various positions including Senior Security Operations Advisor and Director of Security Operations. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Director of Threat Detection & Response at Gurucul. Their career has focused on technical leadership, support services, and security operations advisory.

Adam Burris attended Fort Lewis College from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Modern Languages and Sociology. Adam also attended Thomas Edison State University from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, Adam obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
