Steve Carroll

Steve Carroll is a seasoned goaltending development coach with extensive experience in hockey training and media relations. Since founding the Carroll Goalie School in 1995, Steve has designed specialized training programs to enhance the skills and confidence of young goalies, ages 6-14. As the Goaltending Development Coordinator for USA Hockey's Minnesota District since 2002, Steve was honored as USA Hockey's Goaltending Developer of the Year in 2024. In addition to coaching the women's hockey team at Gustavus Adolphus College, responsibilities include recruiting and in-game strategy. Steve's media relations background spans over two decades, including roles at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and various media outlets, culminating in an award-winning tenure at KARE-TV. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
