Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor is the CFO at Gusto. Prior to joining Gusto, Mike served as the CFO of GitHub from October 2016 to January 2022. Mike also held positions of VP, Finance; Treasurer; and New Markets at Tesla Motors from September 2007 to October 2016. Mike's earlier career includes roles as CFO of Benchmark Capital from January 1999 to December 2002 and as VP, Finance of Micromuse from January 1997 to December 1999. Mike was also the CFO of Tropos Networks from June 2002 to September 2007. Prior to their career in finance, Mike worked in business development at BigBook from January 1996 to December 1997. Mike began their professional career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs from January 1990 to December 1992.

Mike Taylor has a JD from Stanford Law School, an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
